Piano rebuilding is truly an art and a calling. It takes years of deliberate focus and dedication. I pride myself in my work and my high standards. I was very fortunate to learn from one of the very best, and his incredibly high standards were taught to me as the baseline for what is acceptable. There’s always room to grow, and I strive to be better everyday. I hope we can work together someday soon.

Soundboard/ Pinblock
Given the extreme humidity shifts in this part of the country, pin blocks often need to be replaced so that your instrument can maintain a solid tuning. This is the very basic first level of rebuilding. If a soundboard can be repaired we can shim the cracks and reattach and loose ribs. Otherwise we can replace the entire soundboard and recap the bridges, giving your instrument an entirely new life.

Keyset Duplication / Recovery
On top of general key recovery (replacing keytops and rebushing) we are also one of the few shops in the country that are equipped with the tools and the know-how to build entirely brand new keysets. By using the origianl keyframe we dupblicate the original keys with extreme care and precision guranteeing they work perfectly with your instrument.

Tuning
Based out of St. Paul, MN we service pianos in homes, studios, and venues in the general Twin Cities area, but will travel reasonable distances depending on the need of the customer.
